I cannot find any references to an Andrew Nestlé except web sources which all seem to come from sources relating to this story. The Nestlé corporate website does not tell the story quite the same way, and credits Ruth Wakefield for approaching them as a company. Henri Nestlé, the founder, had left the company by 1890. I can find no further mention of anyone named Nestlé.
This story is a good one and I believe is more credible without the Andrew Nestlé portion. If anyone else can dig up supporting facts, I for one am interested. Now, I'll just go and have some milk and Toll House cookies. <gr> Vaoverland 21:26, Apr 1
