Rutieră

Rutieras are private, owner-operated minibuses in Moldova that are used in public transport. They operate along fixed routes.
In cities the each routiera's route has a given number, like buses or trolleybuses.
Rutueras are very popular in cities of Moldova.
The rutieras was introduced in 1981.
There are plans to phase out the small maxis.
