Rutherford is a New Jersey Transit train station serving the Bergen County Line. It is located in Rutherford, New Jersey at the junction of Park Avenue, Union Avenue, Erie Avenue and Orient Way. The junction is known as Station Square. The rail tracks serve as a border between Rutherford and neighboring East Rutherford. The current station was built in 1898 and is listed on the List of Registered Historic Places in New Jersey.

New Jersey Transit will be spending 1.4 million dollars to restore the train station. The project is expected to begin in the summer of 2008.[1]
