[edit] Summary
This image came from the "Jehovah's Witlesses publication;"Jehovah's Witnesses, Proclaimers of the Kingdom", a 750 page publication released 1993 By "Watchtower Bible and Tract Society", as Jehovah's Witnesses, legal publishing Corporation name was then known as.
pictured here and really was an inposing figure of a man at 6'-2" and 225 Lbs.
Many have declared that he was actually no "judge" as he was called, but the facts prove different:
.....He spent two (2) years under the tuteledge of Judge E.L. Edwards; 2.)When he was only 20 years of age he became "Official Court Reporter" for the courts of the Fourteenth District Circuit of Mossouri. 3.)May 5 1892, his license to practice law in Mo. was GRANTED! 4.)Judge Rutherford later served four (4) years as "Public Prosecuter"for Booneville, Mo. 5.)Still later, he served on occasion as a 'special judge' in the Eighth (8) Judicial Court of Mossouri. And, T-H-A-T is why he was referred to as the title "judge"
It must be noted that he NEVEDR asked in any publication as Judge Joseph Rutherford. And, surely, one does not have to be on the Superior Court of these United States to be alluded to as "Judge!", such as Pastor Charles Taze Russell never called himself the Pastor, but at the same time, there were those that were calle "Doctors of Medicine", who NEVER went to a class, as the practice for a "Shingle" as doctor was never required until the late 1880's. Thank you, and I pray for your fine "encylopedia", even though I am seldom published, such as for Maria Karnilova of "Fiddler on the Roof"..for I spent many full days and nights getting the information in scores, if not hundreds of references.
Just one thing, Seeing that there is really no standard for HTML, why not accept English, for there go so many great opinions and queries and stories with style and grace, but this HTML, (X)HTML through to J.S. is extremely annoying, as I am not sure of what to do at times and my "Video Professor" CD's (3) on HTML from AOL, vs "HTML for Dummies" and I "look and try to get through many sources which NEVER agree with one another, but are published anyway".
I have the "Sources of many fine articles, and none are alike"...Very Discouraging. Still, with respect, Richard "Fourstrings" LauzonFourstrings 02:30, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
PS: This image is found in the publication "Jehovahs Witnesses", "Proclaimers of the Kingdom"., Page 66 as the image showed the Judge in "smart style". And, I doubt if many people would take the seconds to slam a door in his face when he unintendedly stood over many folks at 6 '- 2" and weughed 225 pounds , m.o.l.
