Russell Dyer

I'm a writer, in the topic of computer software. I specialize in text about the open-source database MySQL. I've written articles for several magazines and the book MySQL in a Nutshell (O'Reilly Media 2004). It's been translated into German, Japanese, and Polish. I'm also an editor for the knowledge base of MySQL AB.

Magenta 
I live in Milan, Italy, which is near Magenta where my girlfriend lives. So, when I visit her, I try to take pictures and gather information about the town to add to this page of Wikipedia.
MySQL Books 
Since I wrote a book on MySQL, and since I've written reviews of MySQL books, and since I work for MySQL, I've set up this page listing MySQL books. I'm still setting it up--there are more books that needed to be included. I also want to add more details (e.g., ISBN numbers) and links to reviews of them.
