In the sentence....Up to his final year of cycle racing in 1967 This date "1967" is incorrect. Russell Mockridge died in a cycle accident on September 13 1958 as the next paragraph in the article indicates.

Reference "My World on Wheels" the posthumous autobiography of Russell Mockridge completed by John Burrowes and published by Stanley Paul and Co.London in 1960, Introduction, Page 17, it states that "On September 13, 1958, Russell was killed." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.137.47.5 (talk • contribs)
