Referring to the follwoing quote from article, "On May 12, 2006, thinkprogress.org reported a story by CongressDaily in which Tice was said to be planning an appearance the next week before the Senate Armed Service Committee, when further revelations would be made on "a different angle" of the NSA's surveillance program.[1] Ultimately this did not occur and is still unclear as to why.". Can someone provide a reference for the statement "Ultimately this did not occur and is still unclear as to why."?

[edit] Who is this guy

 As an Intel operator this guy should not want his face on the news, unless he is a desk jockey.  If he is a desk jockey, and most of his time was in the Clinton era, why should he be paid attention to?  I think this is a guy that missed his 20 yr pension and is trying to make paybacks.
