Rusty Anderson is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Anderson grew up in La Habra, California.[1] He was a member of hard rock band Eulogy during the mid 1970s, but the band never released a recording.[1] He was later a member of the Living Daylights, and producer David Kahne had him contribute solo material to The Bangles' 1986 album Different Light.[1] He worked as a session musician and was a member of Animal Logic and Ednaswap.[1] In 1999, Anderson recorded a guitar solo used for Ricky Martin's 2001 hit "Livin' la Vida Loca", and he joined Paul McCartney's road band after recording for McCartney's Driving Rain.[1] Working as a session guitarist, he has recorded with Cher, Dido, Carole King, Courtney Love, Lisa Marie Presley, Enrique Iglesias, LFO, Lisa Loeb, Emma Burgess, Jewel, Joe Cocker, Robi Rosa, Parthenon Huxley, Santana, Gwen Stefani, Stevie Nicks, k.d. Lang, Zallen, Wallflowers, Elton John, The Bangles, Susanna Hoffs and many others.
Anderson released his first solo album, "Undressing Underwater," in December 2003.
