Russell Lloyd (film editor)

Russell Lloyd (16 January 1916 – 21 January 2008) was a British-born American film editor, who was nominated for an Oscar for The Man Who Would Be King. He finished many films from 1937 to 1986. John Huston did not oversee the editing process, relying on Lloyd’s technical expertise to finish The Man Who Would Be King and other Houston films like Moby Dick and Heaven Knows, Mr Allison.
He was born in Swansea, Wales and died in Surrey, England.
