Russell Cross

Russell Cross (born September 5, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the National Basketball Association's Golden State Warriors in the 1st round (6th overall) of the 1983 NBA Draft. A 6'10" center from Purdue University, Cross played in only one NBA season, averaging 3.7 points in 45 games for the Warriors in 1983-84.
Cross attended Manley High School on the west side of Chicago and led the basketball team to city and state championships in his senior year.
