Russell Conway Smith (born August 4, 1944 in Bronxville, New York ; died April 1, 2001 in Long Beach, California) was a former American football running back and the father of model and actress Amber Smith.
At the University of Miami, the six-foot one (1.86 m), 214-pound (97 kg) Smith was a halfback.
The American Football League's San Diego Chargers drafted Smith in the fifth round of the 1966 AFL draft. The Chargers moved Smith to running back.
