Russ Fradin is an online advertising industry executive.[1] He is the co-founder and president of Adify, an online advertising company.[2][3]
Fradin grew up in Cold Spring Harbor on Long Island. Fradin received his undergraduate degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating early to work with Rick Thompson and Larry Braitman, the two cofounders of Flycast Communications, as one of the original employees of Flycast. Flycast was a phenomenal success, conducting its initial public offering in 1999. It was later bought by CMGI, and was rolled into Engage. Fradin served as VP at Engage for a few months before joining Comscore to head the Business Development and Corporate Development division in 2000. In 2004, Fradin joined Wine.com as its Senior Vice President of Business Development.
In November 2005, Fradin founded Adify with Thompson and Braitman. Adify offers an alternative to the Google-Yahoo ad network. In April 2008, Adify was sold to Cox Enterprises; Fradin was retained as president of Adify.[4]
Fradin is an avid runner, having completed several marathons and triathlons, including a half-Ironman. He currently lives in the Bay Area with his wife, Carin, and his dog, Ranger.
