As a child I was always interested that Rupert annuals featured a quite different character on the front of the book to that on the pages inside. Rupert would have flesh (human) hands and a yellow/brown tinge to his fur on the outside covers, and yet was completely white in the stories themselves. I am not sure how much the change in his colour in this series is a mark of political correctness (as seems to be the insinuation in the article) and how much it is a return to this earlier version.Jimjamjak (talk) 23:54, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
