Yes, rename. Should embelish on first paragraph, and move second paragraph down to forecasting section. There should be a main article on Weather phenomena or List of weather phenomena.

This is "Shaping the planet" renamed. Should mention briefly the effect of weather on the earth, and vice versa (erosion, volcanoes, etc.)

Yes, move up here and rename. Again, should embellish, possibly using the meteorology page.

Move here. Again, general cleanup needed w/refs.

[edit] Weather modification

Should include both unintentional and intentional effects. Should only very briefly mention intentional weather modification.
