most of the premise is ripped from the back of the book 67.188.43.41)

  • That's because it's an adaptation of the book. You see, that means the book is based on the book.66.194.109.193

yeah i realize that, what i mean is that the premise section of the article is basically ripped from the back cover of the book. 67.188.43.41)

Towards the end of the movie, didn't Bookman try to kill the doctor with scissors (thus making the Trivia section need an edit)?

A key aspect of the book is the narrator's progress through adolescence, but the film has one actor, Joseph Cross (age 19) unconvincingly play the central role throughout most of the movie, including scenes where the character is age 12 or 13

That should not be in an encyclopedia. If I can find the correct tag to add the article I will.. otherwise hopefully someone bolder than me reads this page =) Themania 12:15, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

i have a problem with the divergence from the book section, it says the book says that natalie is fat...as a fat girl myself, i don't see the depiction of natalie in the book as fat, but as a regular sized girl who thinks she is fat —Preceding unsigned comment added by Obfuscationbychoice (talk • contribs) 04:39, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Running with scissors.jpg

Image:Running with scissors.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
