The Rufous-crowned Elaenia (Elaenia ruficeps) is a species of bird in the Tyrannidae family. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
