[edit] Rubble trench != rubble stone
The topics in this article need to be split. Rubble trench, designed for drainage and economy, is completely different than a mortared stone foundation, as shown in the disparity between the two images. --Kickstart70-T-C 19:44, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
