"the best narrative of the hospital is probably given by W. Somerset Maugham where he describes the institution as a place of misery where the male patients are predominantly cases of alcohol related diseases, the women are mostly cases of malnutrition, and the rest are unwanted pregnancies"

This may have been true in the 1920's or 30s, but certainly is not true of the hospital now.87.194.60.87 19:26, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

When the expansion is completed it will be one of the largest renal units in Europe (as opposed to the largest). It will still be some way smaller than the West London Renal and Transplant Centre —Preceding unsigned comment added by Malittle (talk • contribs) 21:01, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
