[edit] Capacity ?

I've been to Royal Athletic Park several times and I believe that the capacity is less than 1000 in typical configurations. I do not believe that the 9200 capacity is accurate. Perhaps 920? I don't have any inside knowledge, but it is clear that capacity is less than 9000. Ensslen 01:19, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

You're right that it seems high. It came from the city's page, and I think refers to the 'convention' or 'open field' capacity (like for beer fest). I actually work so once all of the world cup things are done this summer, I'll get the post-world cup SEATING capacity. We have had events that go up above 3,000 people, but they have been pretty tightly packed into there. NByz 03:20, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
I have updated its capacity. The Web site of the city lists its permanent capacity as 4247. So unless we can come up with a "better" reference that is all we have. Dmgerman 19:14, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
