This article is biased. Just as well, the friendship between Oman and the rest of the Arabian Peninsula (excluding Yemen) is what really guarantees Oman "a quiet future". Wars between two countries don't just break out any day and no one has any practical reason to invade Oman. It's not the military that deters an aggressor. It's the reaction of the international community and the various other factors that result from launching a war that prevents any country from attacking Oman.
