[edit] Daily Curriculum

Classes are split into "teams", in which the student's classes are located. There are four teams, representing the school's abbreviation, ROMS, in each grade, and the White Team, the school's Special Education division. Each team consists of four classrooms, English Language Arts, Science, Math and Social Studies, with the exception of the White Team, which has four independent teachers.[1]

[edit] History of ROMS

Royal Oak Middle School was once Dondero High School, with an enrollment of half the middle school enrollment despite the extra grade. But, due to the declining enrollment, the project, casually named "Old Skool", assigned Kimball High School to become the new ROHS, and Dondero was later assigned to become a middle school.

The school gymnasium was set on fire during a suspected Arson on October 31, 2006. The gymnasium was not ready for use until late October, in which students had to use outdoor facilities for Physical Education.[2]

[edit] School Mascot

The ROMS Bulldog is having a name voted upon. Until then, the mmascot name is subteriantemporarily The ROMS Bulldog.

Has a perfect 9 stair that students can skate at anytime.
