The Royal Confraternity of Sao Teotonio was established November 2, 2000 in Portugal as a primarily Roman Catholic chivalric confraternity of knights. The confraternity is named for Sao Teotonio, the first saint of Portugal. The confraternity is a royal brotherhood open to all who profess Christian values and exemplify Christian virtues.
