Roy Padilla, Sr.

Roy Padilla, Sr. was one of the Governors of the Philippines province of Camarines Norte who served for several years. The growth of Camarines Norte was through Roy Padilla, Sr.'s effort, unfortunately a lot of people envy the way his people supported him until the election period of 1988 where he was assassinated.

Eventually, the assassination of Roy Padilla, Sr. did not stop his future plans for his most loved province because after his assassination, his son Roy Padilla, Jr. took his place after proclaiming that Roy Padilla, Sr. still won the 1988 election.

Afterwards, Roy Padilla, Jr. continued all his Father's dream in making Camarines Norte one of the most famous province in the Bicol region.

He pursued in having to build the biggest and most modern Capitol in Bicol which is the Kapitolyo ng Hilagang Kamarines and developments of almost 85% of Camarines Norte's national road for which he was dearly recognized. He continued to make the province well known even in the Philippine Congress where he also served as Camarines Norte's representative, not until he losy the election for which the people of Camarines Norte know he was purely cheated for being undefeatable and like his father, most loved by the people.
