Roy Lane Marble, Jr. (born December 13, 1966, in Flint, Michigan) is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1st round (23rd overall) of the 1989 NBA Draft. Marble played for the Hawks during the 1989-90 NBA season, appearing in 24 games and scoring a total of 51 points for the year. He also had a brief stint with the Denver Nuggets during the 1993-94 season, appearing in 5 games.
He played four years at the University of Iowa, and was part of George Raveling's 1985 recruiting class that included B.J. Armstrong, Les Jepsen, Ed Horton, and Kevin Gamble. He was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 1985-1986. He then played three seasons under new coach Dr. Tom Davis, and left school as the Hawkeyes all-time leading scorer in 1989 with 2116 points, a record that still stands.
