[edit] Welcome

Hi Henry... I assume you are the Henry Hardy, long-time editor of Berlin's published works. If you are not, I request you choose a different username & if you are I suggest (though this is not a requirement) you list yourself at List of notable Wikipedians (for people who edit Wikipedia about whom Wikipedia has an article). Whatever the case may be, thank you for the edits you've made to the Berlin article. I assume you're new, so here are a few links I think you might find useful:

Please feel free to contact me via my talk page if you have any questions. Regards, Mikker (...) 19:44, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi Henry... Just a quick note: when u leave messages on talk pages "sign" them by typing four tildes (~) in a row, like this ~~~~. This leaves your username & the date and time right after your post. Regards, Mikker (...) 17:40, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Noted and implemented. Should I have an alias, do you think? And how do you do a link so that you get the arrow but not the preceding number? Henry Hardy 18:37, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
No, don't think an alias is necessary. Of course, it is completely your own decision. The second question I don't quite follow, what exactly do you mean? Mikker (...) 19:03, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Look at the Maurice Bowra entry, after "New Bats in Old Belfries": first there is a redundant "[1]", then an arrow. Can one have the latter without the former? If so, how? I'm sure I've seen this elsewhere. Henry Hardy 21:21, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Answering my own question: the "[1]" disappears if one puts the linked-from text within the [ ] containing the linked-to URL (this I've now done). Sorry for false alarm.RD 16:29, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
