Round Tower Stakes

The Round Tower Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for two-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 6 furlongs (1,207 metres) at the Curragh in late August or early September.
It was promoted to Group 3 status in 2004, having been previously classed as a Listed race. Prior to 1991 it was run over a distance of 5 furlongs (1,006 metres).
