The Round-eared Elephant Shrew, Round-eared Sengi or Short-eared Elephant Shrew (Macroscelides proboscideus) is a species of elephant shrew in the Macroscelididae family. It is found in Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, and hot deserts.[2]
