Description

Rouille sauce.

Rouille sauce made at home in Munich, Germany by the photographer, Marion Deveaud, in the summer of 2007. The recipe comes from a cookbook by the French chef Bernard Loiseau.

Ingredients include:

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 small hot red peppers
  • 1 thick slice pain de mie (white bread)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 20 cl olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fish bouillon
  • 1g powdered saffron (optional)
