Only admins can lock a page for editing, and I'm not an admin. Having looked at the page history the vandalism doesn't seem to be too much of a problem and I would have thought you'd be unlikely to get the page locked unless there was a significant increase. The vandals soon realise that all their edits are immediately reverted and they soon give up. Dahliarose 09:04, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dubai Marina ranking

Rossbaku, on 27 February you made an edit to the Dubai article. You altered a Dubai Marina image caption so that it says "...is the world's second largest man-made marina." I am curious to know what the largest man-made marina is. I always thought Dubai Marina was in fact the largest, not the second-largest. I would be grateful if you can shed some light on this issue. Thank you. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 23:42, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for this late reply. I remember reading several different sources (I do not remember which ones) where it mentioned that Dubai Marina is in fact the largest man-made marina. I had thought that it surpassed Marina del Rey in size. I will keep it written as “second largest man-made marina” until you or I find information that proves otherwise. But, if you have a source for Marina del Rey as the largest, I would like to see it. Thanks. Leitmanp (talk | contributions) 01:51, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
