User talk:Rosemaryrocks

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is felt that the article you created at ROSEMARY HASKINS is not suitable for a Wikipedia article, which must have a notable subject and be verifiable. I have moved it to User:Rosemaryrocks, which is where users are free to write about themselves. You are at liberty to move it back into the (Main) namespace but bear in mind that if you do so, it is likely to be nominated for deletion. As a user page it is likely to survive untouched.

Please read WP:AUTO. The recommendation is always: wait until someone else writes a biography about you. -- RHaworth 17:28, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

I also urge you to read what is and isn't acceptable on a Wikipedia:User page and modify yours appropriately.—WAvegetarian(talk) 17:40, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Unless WAvegetarian can be more specific, I suggest you ignore the above. In its present state the page is of course blatant advertising but, imho, just within the limits of what is acceptable. -- RHaworth 19:16, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

No, actually it isn't. Not even close. --Calton | Talk 05:00, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] MfD Nomination

I've nominated your user for deletion under the Miscellany for deletion process, since you have made few or no edits outside of your user page since you created it. User pages are intended for the use of active Wikipedia editors to aid them in their work. Your page seems intended to use Wikipedia as not a free webhost or promotional service, which Wikipedia is not.

We appreciate editor contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that your user page belongs here. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Mikevensel. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of the page during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Miscellany for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. --Calton | Talk 05:00, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spam

Wikipedia policy is perfectly clear: you should leave it to other people to decide that you are notable and to write about you. Allow your submissions to be deleted. If you are notable, you will find yourself written up soon enough. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 01:54, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spam in User:Rosemaryrocks

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on User:Rosemaryrocks, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because User:Rosemaryrocks is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting User:Rosemaryrocks, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
