This is an at-a-glance comparison of metric system and U.S. Customary conversions, a reference for those like me who don't know or remember all of the unit equivalences of one of the systems.
N.B. the U.S. customary conversions are simplified; some units are omitted (quarts, grains, stone etc), some units differ in different situations and different countries, and the unit symbols are not always standardised. There are no such issues with metric, although the metre and litre are spelled -er in U.S. English, and the megagram is usually called a 'tonne' or 'metric ton'. Units for other measurements, like area, may be added later.
