I got rid of this: Although many major museums have examples, it did not help that his masterpiece was and is in a city off the normal tourist track. [1] because the sentence isn't really relevant to the subject of the article (or even the paragraph), makes a judgment about what is considered Fiorentino's masterpiece, and uses questionable style ('it did not help').
