Talk:Ross Porter (American broadcaster)

[edit] Homerun Derby
Ross Porter is narrates the pre-show/post-show voice overs of the DVD release of the classic Homerun derby television show. I'm not sure he was around during the original airing, as the show is quite old, so my *guess* is that the DVD releases are actually repackaged syndicated versions re-edited (probably with time cut for commercials) for syndication... none-the-less, it is most definitely Ross Porter (as someone who's listened to Dodger games for twenty plus years, its obvious). I'm not sure exactly how to phrase this, as I don't have any resources for better information on the subject... but it is most certainly him. Hoping someone with more knowledge can add to his page. 207.154.101.37 (talk) 08:07, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
