[edit] Failed GA nomination

This article doesn't meet the standard for a good article. The prose is not particularly compelling, and there are too many one-sentence paragraphs. Additionally, I don't think that information about the subject's residence and family really belongs in the lead. MLilburne 13:04, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the comments. I have now addressed these issues. Hopefully everything is sorted now. Essexmutant 15:03, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
I have now passed the article. It has been given a copyedit, which makes it read better, and so meets the good article critera. I also fixed some formatting uses, and is there no interwiki? IolakanaT 17:17, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. There is currently no interwiki, although other wikis are catching up with us on the poker articles. Essexmutant 17:18, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] translation please?

Boatman was famously 'glassed' by a fellow pub patron after giving it the big 'I Am'.

Do you have to be English and/or a poker player to understand this? —Tamfang 05:57, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
