Talk:Rosewater (organization)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I should have taken more time to edit and add sources... this is my first article... I got the Mayor for New York wrong, it was Giuliani... the rest of it is right. I woulod like to do a rewrite... I will try to include better sourcing... it takes me a while to learn a new system and I'm still having toruble finding all the tools for editing... I just found out how to add other web addresses to support... the article... I'll try to clean it up; hopefully it will get better... is there a live help page? I have pictures and other sources to add...

I may still need to clean things up a bit... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Robertigoe (talk • contribs) 21:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
How do I change/edit the title? It should be written RoseWater... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Robertigoe (talk • contribs) 21:42, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- It's possible to move articles, but in this case things are complicated by the already existing article "rosewater" for the actual substance. Is the group's name spelled "Rosewater" or "RoseWater"? The former won't work, the latter might or might not, in any case it's possible to move to "Rosewater (organization)". --Kizor 21:46, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Conflict of interest?
An early version of this article mentions a "Robert Igoe" as a co-founder of this movement. The original author, and the author who has done most of the work on it, is User:Robertigoe. I think we may have a pretty bad WP:COI problem here. Realkyhick 04:47, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Since deleted by the same user, though. The article seems to be neutral and stick to the facts. I might be wrong about this, but what with the whole collaborative editing and checking others' work things, an involved person editing should only be a problem if it causes, you know, problems. --Kizor 10:37, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

- But the article was created by Igoe. Makes me a bit uneasy. Realkyhick 18:43, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
It should be RoseWater (organization)...
I will attempt to address authorship concerns in a later post (here)...

Can the "W" be capitalised... as in RoseWater (organization)?--Robertigoe 08:48, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Mr. Igoe, I directed a question to you on your talk page which you have not addressed. Please do so. Realkyhick 16:28, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
realkyhick... questions of nuetrality aside... do you have a problem with any of the rest of the article? The use of the term "fuzzy" is the only question for me... it might seem coloquial. You'ld have to (have) see(n) it though. I am hoping the archives at one of the local television news channels can be produced. --Robertigoe 07:32, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
