Talk:Rose Red (film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There is also a page called "Stephen King's Rose Red." The info should be combined on this page. Tim Long 21:40, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
- I agree that they probably should be merged. "Rose Red (film)" seems to indicate to me a theatrical release which this definitely was not. It was a tv miniseries. I would move the contents of this article to "Stephen King's Rose Red" and eliminate this heading. Ladydayelle 14:00, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

- I didn't see a pressing reason the merge needs much discussion; it's obviously a duplicate article. I went ahead and merged & redirected. All information from "Stephen King's Rose Red" is intact. It could still use a good cleanup though. Thanks for finding it, Tim. Chris Stangl 22:06, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] No references
The "History of the Rimbauer Family and Rose Red" has been taken straight from Joyce's induction speech in the first episode of 'Rose Red'. I'm wondering if that is allowed without reference.
I'm surprised there is no mention of the tales connection to the real life Winchester Mystery House. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_house
The summaries on this page are pretty terrible, but I lack the knowledge to fix them. Someone help!
[edit] Did King actually write this?
I was under the impression that Steven King didn't have anything to do with the writing or production of Rose Red, that his name was used and the actual writing was done by Ghost Writers. Can anyone else confirm this? If this is the case it should be noted in the main article.
