[edit] Notability
Seeing that this article was tagged for deletion in a few days because of notability, I took the step to somewhat streamline the copy so it sounded more like a proper Wikipedia article (e.g., removing first-name references and commercial information which is best discovered by following the external links). While I do not have secondary sources to cite at the moment, I feel there is no doubt about her notability because Putumayo World Music Hour broadcasts to a large international listenership. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.109.224.188 (talk • contribs)
- It's a good thing that the article has been streamlined, but I don't agree with you regarding notability. The notability guideline for biographies requires that independent reliable sources exist about the person (about her, specifically, not about the radio program). None are given however. The fact that she's a host on a radio show with a large audience does not automatically make her notable. I will add the notability tag again (and a "primarysources" tag); the date counter starts anew, so there is ample time for secondary sources to be added. --B. Wolterding 16:36, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
