Roslagsbanan is an 891 mm narrow-gauge suburban railway system in Stockholm County, Sweden. Its combined route length is 65 kilometers and there are 39 stations. The line starts in Stockholm at Stockholms östra. It goes north and splits into three branch lines, terminating in Näsbypark, Österskär and Kårsta.
Roslagsbanan is part of the Stockholm public transport system, and it is owned by Storstockholms Lokaltrafik. It is operated under contract by AB Roslagståg.
Roslagsbanan is one of the oldest electrified railway line for public transportation in northern Europe. The first parts of what became the large narrow gauge Roslagsbanan system were inaugurated in 1876 as the Uppsala-Lenna railroad. In 1885 the main line from Stockholm to Rimbo opened. The first Stockholm - Djursholm suburban part was electrified in 1895. In the beginning of the 20th century were Djursholms Ösby, a station on Roslagsbanan, one of the largest stations in the world with a train stopping every third minute and six different lines deviding from there. Roslagsbanan at its largest covered large parts of Roslagen, whereof its name. Large parts of the network have been abandoned and dismantled over the decades; only the current day Roslagsbanan is in regular use.
The county council has taken a principial decision to rebuild the Kårsta–Rimbo stretch but nothing has yet happened with this extension project.

There are three lines on Roslagsbanan. At Stockholms östra one can interchange to the Stockholm Metro red line 14 station Tekniska högskolan. Interchange stations for Roslagsbanan's branches are Djursholms Ösby between lines 27/28 and 29, and Roslags Näsby between lines 27 and 28. From station Mörby the metro red line 14 station Danderyds sjukhus is approximately a 400 metres walking distance away.
