Rose McIver (b. October 20, 1987)[1] is an actress from New Zealand. Her first film appearance was in the film The Piano. She has appeared in the Disney television film Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board as well as such television shows as Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Maddigan's Quest and Rude Awakenings

Rose McIver was born October 20, 1987. Not long after at the age of two, she was appearing in commercials; by the age of four, she received a role in the 1993 film The Piano. McIver has mostly worked for New Zealand television, from soap operas to dramas like Rude Awakenings. She also starred in the television series Maddigan's Quest and television movies such as Murder in Greenwich to Hercules.
Most recently she has worked on the Disney movie Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board, a sequel to the 1999 film Johnny Tsunami. Rose played the lead role of Val, a rich Dirt Devil that Johnny Kapahala has a crush on. The film was shot in New Zealand and premiered on June 8, 2007. Her big screen debut will be in Peter Jackson's film adaptation of The Lovely Bones, which is scheduled to be released in early 2009.[2]
