[edit] Name pronounciation

Can anyone comfirm the part about his requesting the more traditional American pronounciation? We're well into the season now, and I still cannot recall hearing any of the Lakers' announcers, radio or TV, nor any of his teammates in their interviews, ever say his name any other way than rhyming with "pony". I guess it could be force of habit that's so far keeping them from being able to honor his request . . . but since I also never have heard about that request anywhere else but here, I'm beginning to wonder. I totally forgot about removing that statement. If anyone is going to pronounce it correctly, it's going to be the Lakers announcers. Since they keep saying "Rony" I'm going to eliminate that sentence now. howcheng {chat} 02:05, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

The article was practically ripped from the Los Angeles Lakers online bio of Ronny, so I'm redoing it. I've also added a photograph and some stats. Any help or other additions will be greatly appreciated! -Modenadude (talk) 15:48, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
