Ronald L. McDonald is a member of the McDonald family and an author who wrote Ronald McDonald's International Burger Book, The Complete Hamburger: The History of America's Favorite Sandwich and Ronald McDonald's Franchise Buyers Guide. His first novel, The Haven, was published under the name R Lee McDonald. The Complete Hamburger, a book on the history of McDonald's restaurant, was written with the help of his relative Richard McDonald, one of the brothers who started McDonald's in 1948 in San Bernardino, California. He shares the same name as the clown Ronald McDonald.
