Ron Giteau

Ron Giteau was an Australian rugby league player. He was a former captain of the Canberra Raiders team in the New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership. Ron Giteau toured New Zealand as the Raider's captain in 1982, meeting his current wife Shirley Matthews in Timaru at the time. He is the father of current Australian rugby union player, Matt Giteau.
