Ron Carter (basketball)

Ronald "Ron" Carter Jr. (born August 31, 1956 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a retired American basketball player.
He played collegiately for the Virginia Military Institute.
He was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2nd round (26th pick overall) of the 1978 NBA Draft.
He played for the Lakers (1978-79) and Indiana Pacers (1979-80) in the NBA for 59 games.
