This template provides the Roman numeral that is the "successor" to the parameter -- that is, the Roman numeral that represents the next larger integer.

I works correctly, per se, for parameters from I to XII. It may be used with larger numbers, inlcuding all those up to XXXIX, as follows:

• XX{{Roman-succ|VI}} is XXVII
• However, XXX{{Roman-succ|IX}} produces XXXX rather than XL
