[edit] Beginning Edits

To clarify this article, I've removed the references to Daisy Miller and created a separate article for the disease mentioned in Wharton's story. Thus, I feel that removing the unclear tag is justified. However, I don't have enough literary expertise or knowledge of outside sources to do much more than modify the plot summary. It would be great if somebody with that kind of knowledge could contribute to this article. Huntthetroll 17:17, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

The page seems to have been vandalized quite a bit, probably due to the story being included in recent High School and College texts.
