Assessment per the request at WP:LAW. This is a solid start class article. To get it to B class it needs expansion, I would suggest describing some of the characteristics/differences of this type of law, as well as some history of its expansion. Currently the article covers how it got to The Netherlands, South Africa, and Sri Lanka, but other countries are listed in the lead. Then I would switch to footnote style citations utilizing the <ref>Johnson, p. 34</ref> to make it more clear where the source was for different parts of the article. I believe this is now required for GA class articles and above. Great start, and good luck expanding/improving. Aboutmovies (talk) 23:41, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
