[edit] Neutrality Disputed
I have added the Neutrality tag to the section entitled "Mishandling of Sexual Abuse Cases" because the title of the section itself is worded in a non neutral manner. The Sexual Abuse cases were legally dealt with and a judgement was made. The section seemed very biased, and was added by an editor who seems to have a narrow scope of Christian beliefs. I understand persons have personal feelings for what they write but maintaining neutrality in topics is a Wikipedia policy. Mfields1 23:10, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm unsure why the previous editor finds the title "Mishandling of Sexual Abuse Allegations" to be biased, as failure to report allegations of is by definitions mishandling sexual abuse allegations, and there has been a finding of guilt by a court of law, where the defendant (the Archdiocese) were afforded full due process.
- I'm equally unsure why the previous editor thought it particularly relevant to opine about my "narrow scope of Christian beliefs", unless s/he feels ad hominem arguments bolster his or her position. Indeed having a narrow scope of Christian beliefs, a broad scope of Christian beliefs, or rejection in toto of Christianity seems to have no bearing on his/her argument.
- In all events it would have been helpful if the previous editor had explained why s/he felt the title was biased, rather than stating it as a matter of fact without delving into irrelevancies such as another poster's personally held convictions. It would have also been if s/he would have quoted those statements s/he felt wandered into NPOV. SonPraises 07:16, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
