The Roman Catholic Church in Slovakia is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope and curia in Rome.
Around 70% of the total population is Catholic. The country is divided into 8 dioceses including 3 archdioceses. There is also a separate jurisdiction for those of the Byzantine Rite.
