The Roman Catholic Diocese of Barrancabermeja {Latin: Barrancabermeien(sis)} is a diocese located in the city of Barrancabermeja in the Ecclesiastical province of Bucaramanga in Colombia.

- April 2, 1928: Established as Territorial Prelature of Río Magdalena from the Diocese of Nueva Pamplona and Diocese of Socorro y San Gil
- April 18, 1950: Demoted as Apostolic Vicariate of Barrancabermeja
- October 27, 1962: Promoted as Diocese of Barrancabermeja
