Romal Amanov is Azaerbaidjani boxer who won silver at the 2005 World Amateur Boxing Championships at lightweight.
In the semis the southpaw beat one of the favorites Domenico Valentino 29:22 He lost the final to lanky Cuban Yordenis Ugas 28:42.
At the 2007 World Championships he lost to eventual winner Frankie Gavin.
